Jun 10 – Just as Spoken!
“Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” (Mark 11:23)
The Lord honours the words we speak. What the righteous declare shall come to pass (Mark 11:23).
The Bible says: “Whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:3)
And again: “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9,10)
When we declare with faith: “By His stripes we were healed” (1 Peter 2:24), “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:17), “I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26),
we can receive healing and health.
When we say: “He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’” (Hebrews 13:5), “My Presence will go with you” (Exodus 33:14), “The Lord has given us rest” (2 Chronicles 14:7), we begin to experience the presence and fellowship of God.
When we say in faith: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication … let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6), we receive deliverance from anxiety.
When we declare: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13), we receive divine strength.
When we say: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1) “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19), we can live a life of fullness without lack.
What should we confess in order to receive blessings?
“If I diligently obey the voice of the Lord my God and carefully observe all His commandments, the Lord my God will set me high above all nations of the earth. I shall be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. Blessed shall be the fruit of my body, the produce of my ground, the increase of my cattle, and the offspring of my flocks.
The Lord will cause my enemies who rise against me to be defeated before my face. They shall come out against me one way and flee before me seven ways. The Lord will command the blessing on my storehouses and in all to which I set my hand.” (Deuteronomy 28:1–8)
If you confess these Verses with faith, you will receive all these blessings.
Verse for further meditation: “That the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:14)
